Oh Baby!

Who loves a good baby shower! I do! Of course I do, have you seen my shop? Baby showers are practically the reason I started making clothing in the first place! Before that, it was mostly knitted garments and bags/totes! However, unlike me, for this baby shower i decided not to make any clothing, but make something that will be used much longer than an outfit that may fit for a couple of months. I made a cute divider tote that can house a plethora of new baby necessities!

The pattern is from one of my fav designers, Noodlehead. I discovered Anna’s (maker/founder of Noodlehead) work quite a while ago, and stalk her blog quite frequently, however this is my first make from one of her patterns! If you are a maker yourself, you must be sure to check out her site, you will not be disappointed! For this piece I chose a slub linen cotton woven blend in a darker navy/gray/black blend for the exterior, and for the interior I chose the cutest little dino fabric! For the handles I altered the pattern a little bit because i wanted to use leather and rivets, I love leather and metal hardware! Enjoy below, let me know if there is any interest to add a piece like this to the shop!

Pattern: Noodlehead’s Divider Basket

Fabric: Hawthorne Fabric Supply (exterior is Essex Yarn Dyed Homespun by Robert Kaufman, interior is Fossils in Splash by Dear Stella)

Leather: Tandy Leather

Rivets: Emmaline Bags
