These mittens were designed with the modern, simplistic winter wedding in mind; my own! I wore these beauties on my own winter wedding in Janaury. I desired something elegant, warm, and white. These mittens fit the bill. They are knit up with one strand of sock weight merino and silk yarn and another strand of lace weight mohair yarn. The mohair gives off a perfectly subtle halo with added warmth and softness, while the wool and silk blend yarn provides the strength and softness of wool and silk.

• Super Silky by Emma’s Yarn or 100 grams of any Fingering Weight Yarn

• 25 grams of lace weight mohair yarn

• US size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles

• 2 stitch markers

• Scrap of yarn in contrasting color than main color
